Plymouth Meeting, PA, July 12, 2005 - Beijing Med-Pharm Corporation (BJGP.PK) today announced that its previously filed Registration Statement on Form S-1 relating to 9,074,965 shares of its common stock, including 573,913 shares issuable upon the exercise of warrants, was declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday July 12, 2005. All of the shares were registered on behalf of certain selling stockholders that purchased their shares in a private placement in March 2004. Beijing Med-Pharm Corporation will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of common stock by the selling stockholders.
