Dr. David Evans

London, 2 June 2006 - It is with great sadness that Amphion Innovations plc (AMP.L) announces the sudden and untimely death of Dr. David Evans, the CEO of our partner company WellGen, Inc. on 1 June 2006.

Dave's passing is a tragic loss for his family, his friends, and his colleagues at WellGen. It is also a deep personal and professional loss for the staff of Amphion. Dave will be remembered for his great contributions in the field of agricultural biotechnology and as a pioneer in establishing and leading the nascent field of nutrigenomics. More importantly Dave will be remembered for his great sense of humor and compassion.
