Elects Mark Eisner CO-CHAIR
FireStar Software’s CTO, Mark Eisner, takes a leadership role
in the Financial Services DTF
Acton, MA, May 3, 2005 – FireStar Software, Inc., a leading provider of software products that automates business transactions between companies, today announced the election of Mark Eisner, as a co-chair of the Finance Domain Task Force (DTF) of the Object Management Group (OMG™). Mr. Eisner, FireStar Software's Chief Technology Officer, who has over 30 years experience as an innovator and leader in the software industry including building the first commercial time series based financial analytics software, will join existing co-chairs, Joseph M. Bugajski, VP, Visa International and Ed Harrington, EVP Data Access Technologies, Inc. to enhance an internationally recognized forum for industry focus on Financial Services standards, business architecture, research and technologies.
Mr. Eisner's payments experience goes back to 1993 and includes 6 years consulting for SWIFT, the financial industry-owned co-operative supplying secure, standardized messaging services and interface software to 7,650 financial institutions in over 200 countries. As CTO of FireStar Software, he is designing and implementing a fully distributed business transaction platform that meets the unique needs of multi-enterprise process integration.
