NEW YORK, January 27, 2004 - The Wall Street Transcript has published an in-depth interview with Allan Griebenow, President and CEO of AXCESS Inc. (OTC BB:AXSI.OB) in which he talks at length about the Company's current technology and long-term objectives.
AXCESS provides automated, electronic security surveillance and asset management systems which are dramatically more efficient, pervasive, and effective than current solutions. Wireless battery-powered "active" RFID tagging systems are used for electronic asset tracking, and high-speed personnel and vehicle access control and tracking under the ActiveTag(TM) label. The Prism Video(TM) line integrates network-based streaming video for security video recording and remote operations surveillance.
In addressing the company's positioning for 2004, Mr. Griebenow states "We have a secure patent portfolio for our technology; our products are perfected and in the bloodstream of system integrators where they are embedded into their core platforms. As for sales leverage, we now have the equivalent of about 2,000 foot soldiers out there who can sell our products in 2004."
Commenting as to why investors like AXCESS "We have an advantage, being in the physical security space, one that people are forecasting for growth, as well as in the RFID space -- where people, more and more, understand the productivity benefits of RFID in addition to the technology itself." And for new things in 2004, Mr. Griebenow added "We will expand our focus a little bit in 2004 toward our successes in the supply chain area. We will be keeping in touch with how our systems and solutions can best participate in what's going to be an explosive market for tagging all along the retail supply chain."
