Beijing Med-Pharm Files S1 Registration Statement
COVENTRY, CT, January 12, 2005 - Beijing Med-Pharm (BJGP.PK) today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission registering for sale 8,695,652 shares of its common stock. All of the shares are being registered on behalf of certain selling stockholders that purchased their shares in a private placement in March 2004. Beijing Med-Pharm will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of common stock by the selling stockholders.
A registration statement relating to these shares has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These shares may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
